    Felder bf5 31

Just as as an aside; I am fettling it at the minute but cannot seem to drop the spindle through the table? I have that adjustment working however that only lowers/raises. Does the spindle actually remove or is there something obvious that I'm missing.

    Felder bf5 31

I have been after one of these for a while, however one has just come up at the right money so here it is. Bloody heavy and a 300mile round trip but it is now safe and sound in its albeit crowded new home. If anyone had any advice or maybe even a pdf of a manual, it would all help. Hopefully...

    wardrobe hinge help needed.

Cheers for the reply. I have purchased some very similar ones however when I set up a sample to gauge the distance. they won't clear the frame due to its thickness (25mm). I may be missing something? Jay

    wardrobe hinge help needed.

Hi guys, I've just built a wardrobe and made shaker style doors from 25mm mdf. I'm really struggling to find any concealed hinges to fit. Has anyone got any ideas? I would like to avoid butt hinges if possible as I could do with some adjustability. Any ideas would be great. Jay

metabo sxe 450 or festool rotex 150??

Hi I've used both. Really good machines but for me rotex was the one. Despite the prohibitive price it's an excellent machine, equally at home with a 24 grit pad on parquet or with a microfibre pad polishing the car. Combined with a festool extractor the dust extraction is excellent. Jay

    parquet / block flooring

Hi, I've nearly completed mine, about 30 m2. I found best / quickest way was to make up a jig an run them from my tablesaw however they were in pretty bad shape. I set it just shy of removing any wood. I also found the groove a pain to clean do so used an old biscuit join bit in the router...

    Wood panelling to bathroom

Hi, As with many things there is no simple answer. I decided to make my own in the end and took some pics. I have completed 80% however it wasn't long before a few other problems/ Priorities came to light. We had been in the house 4 Months and it became clear that running the central...

    pigeon hole shelf unit

Hi, I recently made one which is in 2 halves and has 130 holes. It's made from 9mm mdf mr and 18mm sides. To be honest I should have made it from 6mm as it is exceedingly heavy however it is a sturdy unit. I cut my groves on the table saw and used and interlocking pattern as per you photo.

    Bathroom Panelling

After much scratching of head and reading of the forum I have finally taken the plunge and made a start. I have ordered 25mm and 6mm mdf mr and agreed a profile which will run throughout the house. I must say that although I have an extensive construction background, this is my first project in...

    Wood panelling to bathroom

Thankyou for all your replies. I have looked at the panelmaster website and it would certainly be easier than making them myself. However as the new house now comes with an ample workshop (30m2+) I am aiming to build up my skills and do as much woodworking as I can, hopefully culminating in...
