Air line fittings; is 1/4 BSP R or G?

Yes I've only bought air fittings from MachineMart and Screwfix before so this has never come up. Only now I'm trying to run permanent air lines around using push fittings has it become a problem! I think this might be order one of each and see what happens!!

Air line fittings; is 1/4 BSP R or G?

Trying to get the air tools sorted in the workshop and everything I've got currently quotes as being 1/4" BSP fit. I'm trying to order push fitting to thread adaptors at the moment and need to make a choice between R or G threads. BSP can be either so how do you find out which you should use...

    Extension leads

It's really worth trying to find out what the start up current of the machine is (I think sometimes called 'in-rush' current) Might be worth pricing up the cost of the SWA cable and boxes as it's not as much as you probably think and certainly a much better way of doing (in my opinion at least)...

Any ideas what finish this is?

It was the top to a bar that was touring with an outdoor show, so not a fine piece of furniture but had been made to look a lot better than it was. I was thinking stained but have absolutely no idea what the coating was. Although I'm going to have to look up 'acid catalysed or PU' ?? Thanks

Any ideas what finish this is?

Sorry if the subject has been done to death but I'm relatively new to proper finishing. It's lousy photo but I came across this last night and I'm wondering if people can give me pointers what the finish might be? The finish is on plywood, very smooth, fairly hard and pretty water resistant...

    Car scratch remover.....which?

I've used a G3 Rubbing Compound on my car after a scrape in a carpark. Worked really well and is quite gentle. Won't take out heavy and deep scratches but worked pretty good cosmetically.

Axminster Crown Guard coming in from the other side?

I'm looking to fit an overhead crown guard to my tablesaw and I'm looking at the trade series one from axminster. http://www.axminster.co.uk/axminster-tr ... to-st-pp-1 Question is does it have to come in the from the right of the blade? For my workshop layout it would be great if it came in...

Anyone ever fitted an incra system to a panel saw??

Hello, I'm trying to decide on a new table saw setup so have read many of the threads on here about what people are using. So I'm considering an Axminster PS315 as it seems to be a good hybrid to cut up sheet goods and to use as a traditional table saw. I'm also wanting to fit a incra system...

Table Saw Harvey HW110LGE-30 Imported and Reviewed

Out of interest when did you first enquire? I ask because I HAVEN'T had the price honoured from when I first enquired at the first of december. I did a lot of research into this saw and read the forum posts and I have to say that I haven't found the company easy to deal with or communicative...
