How to enthuse a 4 year old

Planes / Rockets / Spaceships - whatever you want to call them Have a selection of offcut pieces. Some straight ones for the body and angled offcuts for wings and fins (avoid triangles as they are a nightmare to clamp) Show or make some simple examples by adding wings to a 'fuselage' piece. If...

    Surform with a difference

Picked up some second hand surforms. One of them didn't have a 'cheese grater' style meshes underneath. This one had what I can only describe as metal sandpaper. It looked like a proper surform accessory though with the two clips in the right places. Has anyone used these before?

    Need to escape/reset

We have a hospice in our area and lots of charity shops for that hospice. They have recently opened a large donation centre. No limits, no silly rules. Just drop off all- sorts there including electricals. It's really useful to have in the area. You can take a car load and they accept it all...

As for repairs - which part of South London are you? There's D&M tools in Twickenham. They sponsor the big tool show each year and I'm pretty sure they do repairs. Wandsworth - Gatto and Sons and Wandsworth Power tools both do repairs. I've also just discovered RS Tool repairs in Raynes Park...

    Need to escape/reset

Very happy to hear that things have turned a corner. A journey of a thousand miles has to start with a single step. Hopefully clearing a little space will make it easier to sort more stuff and suddenly you have a room cleared.

So many amazing replies. Keep up the paperwork records - academies are awful and will lie about anything unless you have a ton of evidence. You can't rely on other staff speaking up for you I'm afraid. My wife was unlawfully kicked out of her academy job and the staff were threatened about...
