John I agree with you,but when I use the old bench belt sander dust goes everywhere I have a extraction on the hole on the end,but it does'nt collect it all. I have just invested in the Trend mask just to get me through until I can afford the Machine Mart CS 48. Bryan

Jimi I would cut a couple of pieces using scrap wood,then prime the wood then paint and see if the pieces fit.The edges should absorb some of the paint,I would think. Bryan

Hi Jimi I suppose that it depends how thick you apply the paint,if it not too thick you may get away with it.The jigsaws that I have cut out recently have had a surround and I have only painted the top face. Bryan
