    Multico bandsaw spares?

    I haven't heard of axi, the machine runs fine bearings are good, new blades fitted, occasionally just refuses to start, normally ok in a few minutes so may be a issue there, the blade guide and the arm that raises the bearing housing has some sideways movement to it, so just seeking info on...

    What happened to the blade gaurd? Mine is a pain in the but, i cant clip it shut as the top wheel rubs on it 🤣

    Thanks richard, thats good to know, i will collect the lathe from storage, and have a look, can i assume most bearimg are similar principal in removing? I can only find videos on cast iron body lathes, hoping its not gonna be too bad to extract, i have many tools at mh disposal

    Hi folks, new to the forum, glad to be here :D I have a sip 01488 lathe and the bearing are worn and have far too much movement, The sip website says discontinued, any idea where i can get a replacement, as no budget for new lathe atm Thanks in advance

    Birch ply or structural ply

    Any marine grade ply will do, 18mm is perfect, i would also suggest reinforcing the floor joists to save any future movement, i am a bathroom fitter, so i do this often, use a liquid tanking kit on the shower walls to save damage to walls from water penetration through grout
