Hi guys bought some reverse toothed blades and am well pleased with the results .Thanks for the advice.

The splintering is always on the underside I have tried using masking tape on the underside as well as the top/pattern side but it doesn't eliminate it although the splintering is slightly less. I will order somerevers tooth blades to see if it helps.

I have just cut some 6mm plywood patterns using a no2 blade and find that the plywood is splintering it isn't cheap plywood is there any way to avoid the splintering. Regards Ray

Could anyone please inform me of places to buy scroll saw blades,I have bought from amazon but the pinless blades seem limited on their sight and I have tried the olson site and when I clicked on the blades I wanted the price was 6.58 euro's per pack but the postage came up as 40 euro's which...

Thanks for your reply Brian at present I am cutting mdf 1/8 and 6mm, ply 6mm, 10mm,and 12mm hard wood 10mm and 12mm,get all my wood from local timber merchants they have a box with all their offcuts in that they burn so let me have what ever I want for free.

I am new to scroll sawing and have converted my saw to accept both types of blades but I cannot find any pinless blades that have various sizes they all seem to be the very fine ones's,are there different sizes in pinnless like pinned and if so were would I get them from. Regards Ray
