Mounting a Makita 2300F on a Router Table

Hi,

I have a Makita 2300F router which is a pretty hefty unit. I bought this for the extra power to use in a router table.

I have just started to mount the unit on the plate and find that the mounting bolts are 15mm long M4s.

Does anybody have experience of this size bolt, in this application? They look undersized to me.

I had my Makita 3612c mounted with the same sized bolts and had no problems with it, you can get better quality bolts (usually socket headed) from a engineering factors if you are worried.
