clio red warning light ...injection fault..Help!

...had to turn back home when the above Fault warning light and STOP light came on.
..would the RAC/Green Flag /AA respond if I asked for assistance?

Clio tom tom 2012 diesel estate.

its a breakdown. You cant drive. dont see why not.
Although you seem to have ignored it and carried on driving, so I wouldnt tell them that.

Rac called and fixed the fault....here's the report.

boost control valve pipe worn through on radiator fan and holed due to valve not fitted on mounting cut
and refit pipe and secure valve but will need new pipe and refitting back in correct place dtc code p0299
turbo under boost.code cleared

Just need new pipe fitting...well pleased.

From the description its a rubber or plastic hose. No liquids involved as its on the turbo boost.
as long as you can buy the correct hose from a spares department (halfords should be able to source that), shouldnt be difficult at all. Have a look at the clips though, sometimes the makers use clever fastenings that need a particular tool to do the job.
Sounds like he had to move the valve due to the pipe being too short once cut. But again, thats a bolt on job.
