Kity 1637 Spares

I'm considering a second hand p/t above. It's in very good condition, but I'm concerned about getting spares, aside from blades. Does anyone know if other spare parts are still available?

doubtful. but NMA agencies are the stockists of what is left- you could try them.

Kity machines were well made and although some are getting on a bit now, they have mostly lasted the test of time.
Spares are almost non existent, but they don't seem to break down much, Bearings, belts and the odd motor wear out but are all available at the usual outlets.
You need to see it working, check the tables and general condition.
Don't lift by the table, get 2 lengths of 4x2 and set them in the thicknesser at whatever thickness they are and carry/move using these as a wheel barrow,
