Apollo lathes

Has everyone seen the Apollo that's been on evilbay about six times? Is it not worth the money? What are the drawbacks? I wouldn't have £850 was bad considering the prices of some others.

Well I have one and I have not found anything it cannot do, I have also been able to fit the axi copy lathe attachment to mine. Paid a fair bit more than £850 for it but then it came with over a grands worth of extra's

I've got the Apollo Professional and it is a fantastic lathe. Massive capacity, both length and drop and very robust. I would have thought £850 was a decent price, as long as it's in good nick.
