Help in wood ID

I was asked to send someone two pieces of oak. What they thought was oak is not oak. Can any one help in iding the door weneer plase. I'm thinking of a birch but am proberly wrong.

Oak is quite easy to ID, it has very prominent and wide rays.

I agree that oak is easy, but I did not see the door until the picture arrived and went by what the requested. As they were informed by there maintanance man as to what to ask for.
