I went to the 'open day' at this workshop at the weekend - I was very impressed with the whole set-up there.
One of the design details that appeared on several items was a kind of scalloped edge - the scalloping revealing a contrasting coloured wood under the top veneer surface.
I wouldn't have the confidence/skill to do these by hand e.g. with a spokeshave - I'd probably never get them looking the same as their neighbours.
How would you make these edge scallops (or is there a better name?)?
