Now that I've passed on my old B&D (30 year old) workmate to my son, I'm looking at a replacement. I have looked at a Bosch PWB 600 Workbench.

Does anyone have feedback on this item?

i stopped using that style of work bench years ago after getting a jawhorse,

i carry around a few different work tops that i clamp in place depending on what im working on,, with 3 you dont need to level it and its built like a tank, b&q have been doing them lately for £50. also sold as the Triton SuperJaws

I have the Bosch too as my portable bench and it is good. Much better made than the current workmate. The Triton / sawhorse is also good but is not really a workbench on its own.

I agree the Jaw horse is a great tool and l do have one but its not much use for me when l want to rest a Rocking horse on it you see all the weight is on the from and soon as l part to carve or put any weight on it be becomes un steady l am better using a flat four legged bench but yet the idea of the Jaw horse is a good tool
