(hammer) could anyone let me know how you attach a dado set to this saw please. I've just bought one, the sleeve/spacer for the single blade has a 1" bore to take the blade but my dado set has 5/8" bore?
Any Ideas !

The 320 is very similar to the 125 (and the 1251 that I own). You may be interested to look at the Powershop Handbook that I scanned as that is written for the 125 and 320. Have a look at http://www.drosera.f2s.com/RAS/DeWalt_P ... ndbook.pdf

Now to answer your question. The actual arbor is 5/8 inches but the inner flange is made with a raised centre to fit the larger 1 inch (or 30mm) bore blade.

This is the standard flange

For dado use Dewalt made a special replacement inner dado flange

Also you need to use a dado/ sanding guard instead of the standard.

Hope this helps. If you need any further info then please ask.

thank you misterfish. I downloaded a copy of DW320 but it never showed the bushes like you have. thanks again. could you tell me where to obtain the bushes that you have shown please,
thanks, ronangi.

The ones in the top three picturesre the standard items that came with the saw and have the raised section in the centre to take the 30mm bore blade.

The lower two pictures that show the dado flange that replaces the inner standard flange leaving the 5/8 inch arbor to take the dado stack.

This shows my saw set up with the stacked dadao

and this is the guard I use

I've usually got my parts from MTMC in Yeovil -
for the 320 they have http://www.mtmc.co.uk/Spare-Parts/Dewal ... 56479.aspx and http://www.mtmc.co.uk/Spare-Parts/Dewal ... 56480.aspx and http://www.mtmc.co.uk/Spare-Parts/Dewal ... 56481.aspx

The dado flange I don't think is available any more, but in the past '9fingers' who posts on the Woodhaven2 forum has made these for people. The other possibilities are to keep your eyes open on Ebay - it's amazing what is offered. Bear in mind that Dewalt actually produced two stacked dado sets for the RAS - a lower cost 6 inch ground steel version and a premium tct 8 inch version which included the dado flange as part of the kit.

thanks again misterfish, managed to get flange from MTMC, so now looking for dado/sanding guard.

On my RAS dw1753, I use a bush similar to the one pictured by Misterfish and I can get most of the Freud dado set in the standard guard.
