small thermometor

hi i bet i spelt that wrong i have a barometer that has a small thermometor on it i am tring to find a replacement as the one on it is broken
it is on a backing about 5 inches long by about 1 inch wide any ideas

Do a google (.co.uk) image search for 'wall mount thermometer 5 x 1' or 'house thermometer 5x1' or whatever it is you are looking for, and see if any of the pics look like what you're after and follow the links, usually end up on ebay for example

You could possibly dismember a plastic pound one for vitals if its the correct size??

Probably more for interest, as they may be too expensive for your needs, but there is a website that sells barometer spare parts, Barometer World, amongst them thermometers.

I've also found some less expensive, screw on ones at Thermometer Specialist.

I just searched Google for "replacement thermometer for barometer".
