Which bandsaw?

Looking to buying a second hand bandsaw off Ebay, i have found a couple. Which one would be better?

There's no competition - the Jet will be of better build quality

Will the draper one be ok with some decent blades?

It will be my first bandsaw and just want to give it a try.

Draper stuff is poor quality generally. OK for hammers and bolsters and such like, but I certainly wouldn't consider anything electrical.

Hi

The Draper one will be better with a good blade but not as good as the Jet with the same blade. The Jet will also be easier to re-sell should you decide.

Edited to say I mistook the first one for a Jet, however my comments stand for the Axminster - I'm sure someone on here could advise you of the original price of it from an old catalogue
