We've recently moved into a bungalow with a variety of internal doors and I'm thinking of changing them for 6 panel moulded doors which are very cheap at the moment (around £12 each). These doors are not very heavy and I wonder whether I should use butt hinges or would a pair and a half of flush hinges be sufficient?

Regards Keith

Butts. 3" and three of them if they're light pine moulded doors. They'll need the midway hinge to keep them from warping.

Yep, i agree with Alex

Thanks Alex & dann. I think they are made from MDF with a grained finish. I've used them in a previous house with no warping but three hinges isn't going to take much extra work (there's only five doors to change!)
