Hi have a dewalt 745 table saw 22kgs in weight on a stand ,I use all the time outside workshop because I have not much room inside. Wondered if any one can give me some ideas on extending table area , as there is nothing on the market for this model one thinks .Regards Bernard

Rousseau 2745 PortaMax

let me know if you find one or another solution, i used to have one of those saws and sold it,, wish i hadn't such a great saw. intend to buy another

I just had a look on the Rousseau website, it looks like the latest model is the 2780.

It's on sale on amazon.com for $350 which is expensive imo.

I have emailed them to find out if they have a UK distributor.

Surely well within the capability of most on here to make such a thing???

Norm Abrams made a similar one with a simple fence based on a pipe clamp.

There is bound to be a youtube video of the episode.

It is series 11 episode 08

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjAXjqyVqQ4 for some reason the image is flipped right to left but that does not make much difference.

Ron Paulk of Youtube fame built a jumbo "portable" (it's huge!) workbench incorporating the US version of the 745 and plenty others have tweaked his plans to suit. I'm sure you could pinch a few ideas from it if only for inspiration.

I have a "Norm's station" like the video to give away if anybody wants it.
Collection only
