Ive taken the plunge (literally) and got a Makita plunge saw. next on my list is a dust extractor.

I've been looking online and there doesnt seem to be many that have the power take off option on the 110v options.

I think the Festool is a little out my price range

can anyone recommend me one ?

Festool might be a bit pricey for me atm. if its by far the best around it might be just worth waiting a bit and getting one when i can get it.

Would i be able to attach makpack boxes to the top of a fein extractor?

I have a 110volt Numatic vacuum 2400watt and a couple of other power tools also 110volt, I use a remote control socket to switch on the transformer that powers both, the vac starts up immediately the transformer is live and then I can switch on the power tool, bonus is the power tool will not work if the transformer/vac is not operating.
