I've been doing a major re-organisation of my workshop over the last few days so it has been in chaos and effectively unusable, but it is done now (more or less) so I took the opportunity today to do a spot of intarsia.
Moving the wife to tears is not usually a measure of success but in this case I think it is...
The pattern is from a Kathy Wise book and is of a beagle. I modified the pattern slightly to include a heart on the shoulder as our late beagle (see my avatar) had a white heart on his shoulder.
Unfortunately I didn't have any really white wood so this was the best I could do.
Wife's happy (in a sad sort of way) so I suppose that's all that matters.
