Hi

Would like recommendations on where to buy Osmo products? Specifically their oil for worktops.

Is mail order better/cheaper?

I'm in Cardiff if it makes a difference

Cheers

I just googled and got it mail order.
Do look carefully though, as often the picture will be large can, selling smaller one - Just be careful you compare like-with-like.

Try Wood finishes direct.

next day scheduled and tracked delivery, Quicker than trying to find it locally.
I used them after a local supplier said I should contact Osmo for samples, and Osmo said I should ask the local supplier. They sell sample sizes and big tins, and tell you which you have ordered.

I used wood finishes direct too. Good price, good service.

I used Wood Wax Extra thin on my iroko worktops, its lovely, easy to apply, smells nice (I think) it took 7 coats on iroko though!

Check on an off cut first, but I found it was way better to apply with a cloth on iroko, I found a brush applied too much. However, I've used PolyX on Sapele and a brush was fine.

+1 very good service

Yes, I pop into Fiddes often. They are 2 mins from my house. Good guys in there.

However, I've heard good things about Osmo and I just thought about trying it :)
