Hi,anyone let me know any good tips on how to lighten darkwood furnitre without damaging the wood
I have a dark stained display cabinet which I want to lighten to match my other furniture

striping with paint stripper will remove coloured finishes and alot of the stain if its in the wood. Going further you can try oxalic acid or 2 part wood bleach.
