After 6 years and 450 posts it's maybe about time I admitted to building something :shock:
Here's my latest project. Two fairly simple end tables in (not surprisingly) nordic birch. Finished with my first try at "wipe-on-poly".

Mark there very nice, any chance of some more pictures of the top, especially the table on the right in the first picture?

I had no idea Nordic Birch was such a beautiful timber.

Here's a couple of extra pics showing the tops.

Yes, birch is a beautiful wood and it was because I've recently seen it refered to as ugly and/or boring that prompted me to post these tables now.
Even so, although it's nice I have to admit one gets a bit fed up with it when it's nigh on the only timber available ! It's also often challenging to work with difficult grain prone to horrible tear out.
