If they ever had any, and at that price, then I'd be coming home with a car full! I'm sure they get the odd small batch, but never seen any there as it probably gets snapped up very quickly (and as it's a 1.5hr drive its not like i can 'pop in' often)

I'm saying nuffin :-"

So is n0legs sitting on a stack of all the best stuff from Wentwood?

Sawdust

Nottage Timber at Pyle near Bridgend. Looks like they are still in business. They have ABW listed but might be worth a phone call to see what else they may have or can get. Again, no idea what their prices are like.

Maybe, maybe not :?:
But I've been working with the Wentwood Walnut and it's lovely.

Gavin had some wide 40-50mm thick slabs there a fortnight ago, might be worth a call.

Well I think I've done quite well. At the always enjoyable HJ Pugh auction this morning, among other things, I got myself 7 boards of some nice English walnut (about 5.7 cu.ft in all) for an average of £22/cu.ft!!! There is some sapwood and there are some checks and shakes, but there's some lovely grain to it and I'm pleased
