Outdoor work bench

I've just had a crack at making some garden furniture and was really pleased with the results. Trouble was I was building on the back of my trailer. I'm now thinking of building and outdoor work bench as I haven't got any space inside. As anyone else done this and could give any hints or tips

Biggest problem is the weather. Not so much while youre building it, but once its built youll start to leave tools on it and they will rust overnight.
If you are disciplined enough to pack away EVERY tool EVERY night or EVERY time it goes cloudy, go for it.

I'd imagine big changes in moisture would mean you would have to be careful about the design too.
