Hello , can I reduce these size of these files or should I just take the pics again at a reduced ,,,,,,,whatever it is !!!!

Afternoon Joe

There is a free graphics program available on the web called Paint.net

You can download it here ...

http://www.getpaint.net/index.html

If you run it and use File / Open to load the image, you can then use Image / Resize to reduce the file size.

You can crop the image with Tool / Rectangle select, draw your rectangle on the image and then use Image / Crop to selection.

Works for me.

Cheers

Dave

Hello, woodspinners,
Well, I fiddled about trying to reduce the file sizes but in the end I caved in and took the pictures again at a reduced quality.
After all that they are not that interesting any way, Sorry if I have wasted your time.
It must be tea and back to the shed time.

There are several methods and simple image rework methods/applications listed in the "Picture Posting Guide" Sticky at the top of the section page.
