Throat cancer Allan. The sad part is that he had been dead for some days before his body was found.
Alcohol was probably a contributing factor to his cancer.
I have been reading the Fred Dibnah story, he too died of cancer, initially kidney and bladder.
He was known to drink upto 16 pints of Guinness per day!

The Hurricane. I agree one of the very best.
Sadly one of his friends fellow Ulsterman George Best also liked a drink, and it was this that intertfered with both of their games and private lives. If only

I managed to see him at the last big event in Sheffield, a few months ago.
I am no raving snooker fanatic, although I like the game; I always felt that HH was a joy to watch.
Very sad news and my thoughts are with his family.
