Sad news. I met him once, he certainly lived life to the extreme.

Throat cancer Allan. The sad part is that he had been dead for some days before his body was found.
Alcohol was probably a contributing factor to his cancer.
I have been reading the Fred Dibnah story, he too died of cancer, initially kidney and bladder.
He was known to drink upto 16 pints of Guinness per day!

Roy.

The Hurricane. I agree one of the very best.
Sadly one of his friends fellow Ulsterman George Best also liked a drink, and it was this that intertfered with both of their games and private lives. If only Crying or Very sad

Cheers

Mike

I managed to see him at the last big event in Sheffield, a few months ago.

I am no raving snooker fanatic, although I like the game; I always felt that HH was a joy to watch.

Very sad news and my thoughts are with his family.
