Description
Tools Model: CCBManufacturer: Perform Price: £80.95 Website: http://www.axminster.co.uk The base is cast iron, which supports the die cast frame. The 290mm x 290mm table is aluminum and can be tilted from 0-45 degrees. It's has a mitre gauge slot machined into it, on the right hand-side of the blade. The plastic door is opened with a screwdriver, by loosening two screws. A very good feature is the micro-switch on the door, which stops the motor if the door is opened when the machine is running. Behind the door are two rubber tyred, die cast bandwheels. The blade is well supported by two bearings and four pins, which are located above the blade and below the table. The aluminum fence is basic (but works!) and the mitre gauge is very cheap looking - but again, it does its job. This machine works well at its own pace and it's a great choice for the occasional user or toy maker.
