jcassidy--To answer your question about my 'Tenon Saw Problem'. So far tried the vinegar and baking powder mix. Soaked the saws in the solution for a couple of days. Results? Did remove some rust--more came off after sanding but still a bit rusty in parts. So next stage is to order steel wire...

I am about to buy a set of bevel edge chisels. I have narrowed the choice down to 2 options: a) Irwin Maples M373 splitproof b) Banco bevel edge Have you had experienced any of the above?

Wood working tools--hand saws / chisels / small screws. Some are quite rusty. Anybody use 'Jenolite Rust Remover Thick Liquid'? Did it remove the rust for you? Have you used it on band saw / bobbin beds to eradicate the rust?
