Just posting in case anyone is thinking of selling their Veritas mortise chisels or Veritas butt chisels. Just don’t want to buy brand new!

Just wondering is anyone has any veritas chisels they are selling? Butt chisels and bench ones?

Thank you so much. It’s hard but I think I’ll get there one day. I appreciate all the journeys that people are on and still growing on too. I do have good days so it’s good sometimes but I guess we all have strengths and weaknesses and that’s ok.

Bit of a sore topic for me, how do you stay organised and focussed on the work you do? I really struggle with confidence and sometimes motivation. I have a teaching job and I feel it really takes me away from my hobby of making things. Any advice would be great.

I got three quotes and I’m in the south east. 2k, 1.6k and 1.3k. I’m just a bit dumb struck with what electricians ask these days, how much do other people have to work to generate 2k in a weekend? Obvs there’s material costs but I was quoted for very little and no new armoured cable……

It is great, parf table holes too which is great as I have a a few accessories to help clamp down pieces. Honestly really chuffed!

I’ve called Axminster and it was worth £550 back in 2008. So looking forward to it arriving on the weekend. I’ll take a picture of it and show you guys yeah I will defo start get the top level and sanded, it sounds silly but I’m really excited as I’ve been waiting years for one! 😃😃😃
